The Society of Foreign Consuls in New York is a prestigious and unique organization founded in 1925. New York hosts the world’s largest Consular corps, currently comprising 101 Consulates General. The Society is steered by an Executive Committee made up of elected members representing different regions of the world. They work to safeguard the interests and rights of the members of the Consular Corps as defined in international law or as established through usage. They also strive to promote cultural and economic relations with the city of New York and between their respective countries and the United States.
